A Year In Review

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday Season!!! This year has had its fill of ups and downs but more ups than downs! We saw our economy in Alberta hit a real low and many friends and family were out of jobs in the oilfield. My husband changed jobs a few times this year and things got really tough, but with lots of love and perseverance we seem to be pulling through. For myself; I have put my career as a Nail Technician on hold to care and help raise my two small nephews. It has been a big adjustment as my husband and I cannot have children to suddenly having two little boys under the age of four running around. Although there have been some rough times I wouldn't change it for the world! They are a bright light in my sometimes dark world. This time of year is a hard time for me as there has been a lot of loss over the years around this time and I usually find no joy this time of year as I know many others do. But having these two little boys around has been shining light and I find my spirit for this season slowing getting brighter with every passing year.
As for my beloved PSP world I will continue to create in the coming year, although I will be switching up my CT teams and making room for new ones :) I will also be working on offering the tags that I make as I have had many requests to do so. If you are a scrap company or artist interested in having me create gorgeous tags for you and advertise please feel free to email me ravenrosesdesigns@gmail.com please include links to your stores or websites and I will get back to you as soon as I can.  This tutorial was written by me on August 28, 2016.
It was made out of my own creation and similarity is purely coincidental.
I used PSP 9 and you must have good PSP knowledge and be familiar with the tools.

Drop Shadow as you go

Layers - merge visible - merge group

Selections - modify - expand x5 - NRL
Open tube - resize close up 60% - mirror - C/P to img
Move tube into frame - selections - invert/delete - deselect
Layers - duplicate
Adjust - Hue/Saturation - colorize - Hue 0 Saturation 75
Move frame above tube
